Terms of service

Accounts:
- Only ONE account per a person. If multiple accounts are detected using the same IP investigation will be prompt and judgment swift. It is recommended to send a mail to a member of the staff alerting us to a second person playing from the same IP before we find out about it on our own.
- No large transactions between same IP accounts. If you want to give your mom a little Lira, that's ok. However, transactions will be monitored.
- Information given for an account MUST BE CORRECT. If you give your first name as 246, then we will contact you to correct it and if you do not, or we see you being called and responding to a different first name then you have broken this agreement and may be terminated at will.

Modifications:
- During the initial form of the game all aspects of the game are subject to change and testing without any warning or permission. Accounts may be reset, or edited to fit whatever criteria we want. After the final release of the game any changes will not be so drastic, but management reserves the right to do whatever they feel necessary. Basically, we own your account.

Age:
- You must be 15 years old or older. No exceptions. If we find out about you being younger, you WILL be deleted.

Behavior:
- The Game Management may decide at any time that you are a problem and are hindering game play for the majority and may remove you from the game. Any special items that you may have may be done with as the management pleases. If you have bought membership we may allow you to play out the rest of your time, but don't count on it. You will be deemed a problem if you continually: disobey staff orders and game rules, often engage in verbally abusive arguments in chat and/or mails and forum, or anything else we decide we don't like. This is purely subjective, so don't piss us off. We won't make any heat of the moment decisions, so don't worry about that. Any deletions will be cold, calculated, surgical removals. Don't become a cancer and we won't have to remove you.

Activity:
- If you remain inactive for 30 or more days without Knight or Baron Status, your account may be deleted.

Abuse:
- Users may not abuse the server in any way. This includes, but is not limited to DOS/DDOS/packeting, unreasonable refreshing of pages, and invalid/broken commands to server.
- Playing the game any way it is not meant to be played, including the use of scripts, bots, multiple accounts, or exploiting bugs.

Bugs:
- Exploiting a game bug without notifying staff is expressly FORBIDDEN you WILL be deleted and IP banned.
- If you accidentally find it, report it immediately. Bugs must be reported to the game administration either through the bugs board, or if it is exploitable in nature, to admin@blackswordrpg.com.

Cheating:
- Players should play the game it's meant to be played. Exploiting game flaws or bugs, either conceptual or technical, is strictly forbidden.

Content:
- Things will be kept PG-13. There is a 15 year old age limit too, so that should help protect from most things.
- Inappropriate character or item names are not allowed. If you have to wonder whether it's inappropriate - it's probably inappropriate. If you create your character with an inappropriate name we will notify you and change it and give you the means to change it to something that is appropriate. If you name a weapon something inappropriate we can change it to whatever we want and you will get no funds to change it again.
- Content found on this site is not necessarily reflective of the opinions of the game owners, as it is a user-oriented community. Users are expected to be reasonably respectful and nice towards other users.

Advertising:
- You may speak about other websites and such in chat and the appropriate forums.
- Other games may be mentioned/named. No game URL's in chat or forums. Keep referring to other games to direct mail contact. It will be allowed in mails, but not for public viewing.
- No advertising any place that has adult content. I understand there are some sites not directly involving adult content but with adult ads, these sites are also not allowed.

Termination:
- This agreement may be terminated by BlackSwordrpg staff at any time.

Amendment:
- This agreement may be altered in anyway at any time. Notifications of such alterations will be made in the game.

Liability:
- We are not responsible for any losses, financial and otherwise, sustained while using any of our services, either directly or indirectly. You agree to hold us harmless of all claims.

Payment Agreement:
- When you pay for a certain item or status the transaction and all responsibility on the staff to honor that payment ends as soon as the item or status is given to you. If you buy a perfect gem we are under no obligation to keep you as a player over any other player. If you buy Knight Status and then break the rules you may still be deleted without any refund. We do not give refunds. Once you have paid and received what you paid for, our responsibility is over. If you buy a year's worth of status we are not obliged to keep you for a year if you break game rules.
